Drage stood before the Bounty Hunter Elders, his hands clasped behind his back as he addressed the High Council.
"Brothers and sisters, I have received intel that the enemy has created high-tech schematics for their own time-skipping machine. They are actively recruiting rogue Bounty Hunter engineers to switch sides and help them build it. This has compromised our entire community, and we must take swift action."
The council murmured among themselves, clearly alarmed by this news. "What action do you propose, Drage?" asked one of the Elders.
Drage paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "I propose we create a secret boot camp to train up an elite and trusted Bounty Hunter faction for three months in an undisclosed secure location. This will be voluntary, of course, but the rewards will be significant for those that pass this gruelling challenge."
There was a pause as the council considered his proposal. "And how will you ensure that these recruits can be trusted?" asked another Elder.
Drage leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with intensity. "They must lock up their Bounty Hunter NFTs for the entire three months they are in trai ning. This will show their commitment to our cause and their willingness to sacrifice for the greater good."
The council members nodded, clearly impressed by Drage's proposal. "And what of the recruits who fail to meet our standards?" asked another Elder.
"Failure is not an option. I will personally make sure that everyone passes through the bootcamp at all costs" replied Drage.
The council nodded in agreement, and Drage knew that he had their support. "Good. I will begin recruiting for the boot camp immediately. Those who make it through my Bootcamp will be paid handsomely in Credits. These $CREDITS can be used to purchase weapons allowing us to unify into a super-elite faction. The enemy will stand little chance as long as we can recruit enough numbers.”
With that, Drage took his leave from the council chamber and began the difficult task of building plans for a secure neural broadcast channel to try and reach as many Bounty Hunters as possible. The task was daunting, but Drage knew that failure was not an option. If the enemy succeeded in creating their time-skipping machine, the consequences would be catastrophic. The delicate balance of power that had kept the world from plunging into chaos would be upset, and the future of humanity would be uncertain.
Drage knew that the road ahead would be long and perilous. The recruits he selected would need to be skilled, resourceful, and above all, willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good. They would need to be willing to put aside their personal ambitions and desires for the sake of the mission.
As he began to walk down the narrow pathways towards his private dorm, Drage thought of the sacrifices that he himself had made for the cause. He had given up everything, his life, his family, his friends, all to protect the world from those who sought to destroy it.
He knew the boot camp would be difficult, but he was confident it would prepare his elite squad for the challenges ahead. They would emerge from the training stronger, faster, and more skilled than ever before.
